After campaigning hard on local issues, Conservatives secured 29 seats on B&NES Council at the local election in May 2011, with the Lib Dems also on 29 Councillors and Labour with 5. However, Labour Councillors chose to back the Lib Dems to form the Council’s administration, meaning the Lib Dems run your Council with Labour support.
Cllr Francine Haeberling, Bath and North East Somerset Conservative Leader, says;
“Local Conservatives aim to provide a strong voice for local communities throughout the area and hold the Labour-backed Lib Dem administration to account. We run positive campaigns in our local communities and have a strong vision for improving our region, campaigning to deliver on the priorities of local residents.
“I would like to thank you for visiting our website and hope you take the time to have a look at some of the work being done in your area.”
